Hi! I’m Ali, but my close friends call me Luna.
I’m currently a junior at San Francisco State University, with a Major in Cinema and a Minor in Business Administration. I’m a member of the gender-inclusive professional cinema fraternity on campus, Delta Kappa Alpha.
Most filmmakers have a story about the moment they realized they wanted to go into filmmaking, but for me, I sort of… grew into it. I’ve been a visual learner and storyteller my whole life, so being a filmmaker was definitely the endgame.
I enjoy screenwriting, producing, and directing. Sometimes I’ll show my face in front of the camera.
When I’m not working on films, I like to read, write, listen to music, and play the steel drums. I also have an immense passion and fascination for pop culture, including comics and TV.
